You should review this page periodically. If you continue to use Affarico after the Terms are updated, you are taken to have accepted the updated Terms.
4. Access to the website
You may access publicly available parts of Affarico without creating an account.

Some content, features, libraries, or resources may require you to create an account, become a member, or purchase a paid subscription.

We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the website or services at any time. We are not liable to you or any third party for changes to the availability, structure, design, content, or features of the website, except to the extent required by law.
5. Accounts and registration
To access member-only content or subscription services, you may need to create an account.

When creating or using an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. This may include your name, email address, username, password, billing information, country or region, and other information reasonably required to provide the service.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must notify us promptly if you become aware of unauthorised access to your account or any security issue.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe that your account has been misused, that your information is inaccurate, or that you have breached these Terms.
6. Eligibility
You may only use Affarico if you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your country or region.

If you are under the age of legal majority in your location, you may only use Affarico with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

You must not use Affarico if you are prohibited from doing so under the laws of Australia or the laws that apply in your country or region.
7. Subscriptions and paid access
Affarico may offer paid subscription plans, including monthly, annual, or other access plans.

The details of each plan, including price, inclusions, billing frequency, renewal terms, and access rights, will be shown at the time of purchase.

By purchasing a subscription, you authorise us or our payment provider to charge the applicable fees using your selected payment method.

Unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase, subscriptions provide access for one individual user only and are not transferable.
8. Automatic renewal
Some subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

If automatic renewal applies to your subscription, this will be disclosed during the purchase process. You are responsible for managing your subscription and cancelling it before renewal if you do not wish to continue.

Where required by applicable law, we will provide renewal information or cancellation rights in the manner required.
9. Pricing and payment
Prices may be displayed in US dollars, Australian dollars or another currency depending on the payment system, your location, or the plan selected.

Prices may be changed from time to time. Price changes will not affect a subscription period that has already been paid for, unless required by law or clearly disclosed to you.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. By making a payment, you may also be subject to the payment provider’s own terms, privacy policy, and processing rules.

We do not store full payment card details unless this is handled securely by an authorised payment provider.
10. Taxes and international users
Affarico is available to users in multiple countries.

Depending on your location, subscription fees may be subject to taxes, duties, GST, VAT, sales tax, or similar charges. Where applicable, these may be included in the price or added during checkout.

You are responsible for complying with any laws that apply to you in your country or region when accessing Affarico.
11. Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription through the account, billing, or subscription management tools made available on the website, or by contacting us where self-service cancellation is not available.

Cancelling a subscription stops future renewal charges. It does not automatically provide a refund for a period that has already commenced, unless required by law or expressly stated by us.

After cancellation, you may continue to have access until the end of the period you have already paid for, unless your access is terminated earlier due to a breach of these Terms.
12. Refunds
Refunds are handled in accordance with these Terms, the subscription terms shown at checkout, and any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

For Australian consumers, our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a service fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy. The ACCC explains that consumer remedies may include repair, replacement, refund, cancellation, or compensation depending on the circumstances.

We may provide a refund where:
-
we are unable to provide the service you paid for;
-
a refund is required under applicable law;
-
there has been a billing error; or
-
we determine, at our discretion, that a refund is appropriate in the circumstances.
We are not required to provide a refund simply because you change your mind, stop using the service, forget to cancel before renewal, or no longer require access, unless applicable law gives you that right.

16. Public domain and open materials
Affarico may include, reference, or organise materials that are in the public domain or available under open licences.
Where content is public domain or openly licensed, your rights to use that original source material may be broader than your rights to use Affarico’s own platform, summaries, design, organisation, taxonomy, commentary, or curated presentation.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict rights you independently have under public domain status, open licences, fair dealing, fair use, or applicable law.
17. User content and submissions
If you submit content, comments, feedback, suggestions, files, or other materials to Affarico, you confirm that you have the right to do so.

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, reproduce, adapt, publish, display, and process that material to operate, improve, promote, or provide Affarico services.

You must not submit material that is unlawful, defamatory, misleading, confidential without authority, infringing, malicious, or harmful.

We may remove user-submitted content at our discretion.
18. Third-party links and content
Affarico may contain links to third-party websites, publications, platforms, tools, services, or resources.

Third-party links are provided for reference and convenience. We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy, security, privacy practices, or terms of use.
